Foreign Minister Ban with Secretary of State Rice at Meeting

On August 23, Foreign Minister Ban Ki-moon (left) had a meeting with U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice and discussed measures on the six-party talks on North Korea’s nuclear program that are to be resumed soon at the U.S. State Department. During his visit in Washington (from August 20 to August 24, local time), Minister Ban met with Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld and John Negroponte, the Director of National Intelligence.
