Hill Waiting for North’s Response

Christopher Hill, the top U.S. negotiator to the six-party talks and assistant secretary of state for East Asian and Pacific Affairs, waves his hand to journalists on the morning of August 4 as he leaves his hotel. Hill urged North Korea to answer whether it would accept the draft statement of principles. He had no bilateral negotiations with North Korea that day.
