Peace Group Simulates Nuclear Explosion

On July 16, an event for reproducing the world’s first-ever nuclear explosion was held in desert in Flanagan, Nevada. Marking the 60th anniversary of the world’s first-ever test of atomic bomb, a peace movement group called the “Simnuke Project” arranged an explosion simulation. The simulation was carried out by igniting a compound of compressed liquid fuel, and blowing wind from a massive electric fan.
