Mt. Baekdu

The middle of Mt. Baekdu is a heavenly flower garden in July. As it is a high land, flowers bloom as late as after mid-June. A community of violet iris looks like a carpet in the “high mountain flower garden” which is located 1,700m high in west Baekdu. It is said that the flower garden shows the best of Mt. Baekdu’s summer landscape. The photo was taken on July 8.
