Storm Fells Trees in Gangwon Province

On July 1, heavy rain and strong winds swept Namsan county, Chuncheon city, Gangwon Province, blowing down trees. The storm damaged 22 houses and some 200 trees in the area. The fury of the storm subsided by the afternoon, but the Korea Meteorological Administration predicted that pouring rain would resume on July 3.
