Washing Hair in Calamus-Boiled Water on Dano Day

On June 10, a day before Dano Day(a Korean holiday), a group of kindergarteners are washing their hair in calamus-boiled water at the Seoul Initiation Center of Intangible Cultural Properties in Samseong-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul. Washing hair in calamus water is known to be effective in preventing dandruff and skin diseases.
