Once Again, Clear Water in Cheonggyecheon

On June 1, clear water ran in Cheonggyecheon since the restoration construction work started one year and 11 months ago. Water drawn up via a pump from the Jayang forebay in Gwangjin-gu, Seoul, and the subway station meets at Cheonggye Square in front of the Dong-A Ilbo building in Sejong-ro, Jongno-gu, and then flows to the downstream of Han River passing through Cheonggyechoeon due to the different water levels.
