“Fighting for peace”-

Selected soccer players from high schools in Arbil, in which Korean troops have been stationed in Iraq, are shouting “fighting” with Iraqi flags and a soccer ball in their hands at Arbil Airport, prior to their departure to Korea on the afternoon of April 9. Dong-a Ilbo sent the soccer ball last year through a “Campaign to Send Soccer Balls with Hope to Iraq.” Dong-a Ilbo and the Korean Football Association invited the high school team. The Iraqi team will arrive on Monday and have two friendship matches with Korean high school teams during their stay for seven nights and eight days in Korea.
