The government and the ruling Uri Party plan to meet at the National Assembly on March 18 to discuss and review ways to ask Japan to face its moral responsibilities on the issue of Korean “comfort women” who suffered as sex slaves under Japanese colonial rule. Ban Ki-moon, minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade (second from the left), said that the government should approach the issue in a way to bolster humanitarian values.
