Constitutionality Lawsuit Over Administrative City Falls Under Scrutiny

Lawyer Lee Seok-yeon, who won the unconstitutionality decision against the special law on the construction of the new administrative capital from the Constitutional Court, revealed on March 10 that he is examining the factors for a constitutionality lawsuit against the Special Law on the Central Administrative Complex.

Lee announced this at a policy discussion session hosted by the Yeoido Research Center under the Grand National Party held at the Library of the National Assembly under the title: “The Spirit of the Constitution and the Advisable Direction for National Policies.”

Lee said, “If the constitutionality litigation is not put into motion by some other organization regarding the law on the administrative city, I shall not concede my role (as the litigator).”
