“We Will Come Back Safely”

A solider is bowing deeply to his family at the farewell ceremony for the second departure of the Zaytun Unit held at the drill grounds of the ranger-commando force training center in Gwangju-gun, Gyeonggi-do on February 24. Around 1,700 troops will leave for Iraq from the end of this month. The Defense Ministry has not publicized the schedule of Zaytun Unit’s deployment for safety reason, but this time it made the send-off ceremony public, considering the soldiers’ morality.
