“Soaring Housing Prices Must Be Checked.”

Kim Byeong-joon, the chief of the Presidential Policy Office, emphasized on February 17, “We will take a strong line on soaring home prices to mobilize all other possible measures, unless the government-initiated ‘redemption system of gains from housing reconstruction’ is successful.”

Kim said with confidence that the government would check the inflation of housing prices in Gangnam, an area south of Seoul.
