“North Korea’s Unconditional Return to the Six-nation Talks is Needed”

After the heads of defense and foreign affairs from the U.S. and Japan completed their talks (the two-plus-two dialogue) on February 19, Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld, Japan’s foreign minister Nobutaka Machimura, and Defense Agency Director General Yoshinori Ono (from the left) are having a joint press conference. The U.S. and Japan urged, “North Korea must instantly, unconditionally get back to the six-way talks.”
