DJ’s 81st Birthday Yesterday

Former President Kim Dae-jung (left) had his 81st birthday yesterday. Incumbent President Roh Moo-hyun sent Chief Secretary of Presidential Public Relations Lee Byeong-wan with a congratulatory plant to Kim’s residence yesterday morning. Lee said, “Roh is concentrating on boosting the economy and helping mid-sized to small companies.” To this, Kim replied, “Employment comes from lively mid-sized to small enterprises. There is a limit only with the large firms. Roh is doing well.”
