Ruling and Opposition Parties Seek to Find a Solution

A negotiation effort between the ruling and opposition parties to deal with the four reform bills through mutual consent is facing a deadlock. The Uri Party held a permanent central committee meeting presided by Chairman Lee Boo-young (on the left), and Grand National Party’s Chairwoman Park Geun-hye (on the right) convened a permanent central committee meeting on December 27. Yet, both parties failed to find a solution to the political deadlock.
