KTX Hits a New Speed Record of 350 km/h

The Korea Train Express (KTX), self-developed by Korean technology, hit the 350 km/h barrier during a December 16 test run. Thus, Korea has now officially joined France, Germany, and Japan in obtaining the technology necessary to manufacture bullet trains capable of going over 350 km/h. Today’s test run began at Gwangmyung Station in Gyeonggi-do as the KTX reached speeds of 352.4 km/h between Cheonan and Shintanjin to end the test trial successfully.
