The highest bridge in the world, at 343 meters above ground, has been built on the Tarn River in the southern part of France. It is part of a highway to connect Paris, France to Barcelona, Spain. This bridge, which has seven piers rising through the fog, is scheduled to open with a commemoration ceremony on December 14.
