A source from the Korean Energy Development Organization (KEDO) on Thursday (local time) revealed that Charles Kartman, the head of KEDO, will visit North Korea from Saturday until next Tuesday to discuss the light-water reactor project
Mr. Kartman is planning to meet with Choi Cheol-su, director of the North Korean bureau of the light-water reactor project, and deliver the results and details of the KEDO board of directors meetings and seek North Koreas opinion on the matter.
Brian Kremer, a spokesperson from the KEDO, said that Mr. Kartman will conduct an inspection into the current status of light-water reactor construction projects that have been currently frozen and also discuss the issue of North Koreas shipping of construction equipment out of the country.
