On November 12, rival political parties bolted out in front of the speaker’s chair during the National Assembly plenary session and became entangled as they demanded a statement from Vice Chairman Kim Duk-gyu permitting speech to be continued. The session was cut short when chaos ensued after Grand National Party assemblyman Choi Goo-shik’s interpellation question was cut off in mid-sentence when the microphone was turned off.
