“Close to Korean Fans” Emperor with Simplemindedness

“Emperor of Golf” Tiger Woods landed in Korea on November 12, descending from his private jet, the “Gulf Stream IV.”

Woods was welcomed by Sohn Chun-soo, president of Raon Construction Company, and Goo Bon-hong, cheif of news report headquarters of MBC, at the Jeju Airport, posed for photographers, and left directly for Lotte Hotel at Joongmoon and had a press interview.

At the press interview, there were Choi Kyung-joo (Superior, Tailorlmade), Park Se-ri (CJ), and Colin Montgomerie (Scotland) who are participating at the skins game.

Woods arrived one hour later than the originally estimated 6:00 p.m., and was not accompanied by his new bride of last month, Elin Nordegren for personal reasons.

Steve Williams, his millionaire caddy with 100 victories throughout the PGA tours, was also missing. William is learning the course in Japan where Woods will be playing in the Dunlop Phoenix Tournament next week.

Mark Steinberg, president of IMG, which is Woods’ agency, will assume the role as caddy for Tiger Woods and will carry his bag at the skins game on November 14.

Woods will be staying at the Lotte Hotel during his stay in Korea and driving a SUV, “XC90T6,” offered to him by Volvo Korea.
