A partial eclipse was seen in Koreas sky yesterday morning. Children observed the eclipse wearing special glasses that cut the sun rays at Seoul National Science Museum in Jongro. In Seoul, the eclipse started at 10:52 a.m. and continued for 52 minutes, reaching its peak at 11:18 a.m. with the moon covering 4.9 percent of the sun. This picture was taken at the side of the Han River at 11:18 a.m., using a sun filter, 500mm lens, and a doubling converter. The facility that is covering part of the suns surface is the 63 Buildings transmitting tower. The next partial eclipse can be seen on March 19, 2007 in Korea.
