Fifth ASEM Opens

Summits from different countries are posing for a celebratory picture shot at the opening ceremony of the Fifth Asia-Europe Summit Meeting held at the Ba Dinh Hall, the Vietnamese Parliament Building on October 8. President Roh Moo-hyun (7th from right in front row) spoke for about 10 minutes, much longer than his designated three minutes, while emphasizing on the reform of the United Nations.
