N.K. “It’s All Up to the U.S.”

North Korean Deputy Foreign Minister Choi Su-heon (left) had talks with Japanese Prime Minister Junichiro Koizumi (second from the right) on issues about the six-way talks and the South Korean nuclear experiment at the United Nations headquarters in New York on September 22. Choi repeated the same opinion that North Korea’s return to the six-way talks would be decided based upon how the U.S. makes progress. Japanese Director General for Foreign Affairs Danaka Hitoshi (right) listened to them very carefully.
