Terrorist group Al-Qaeda`s extra plot preceding the terror attack on September 11, 2001 has been confirmed. It appears they had alternate plan to hijack a plane departing from South Korea for the attack.

Susan Ginsburg, the senior counsel and team leader of the National Commission of Terrorist Attacks of the United States Congress and who was in charge of border security and foreigners` admission, confirmed at the hearing conducted by the Council of Foreign Relation of the United States House of Representative that the terrorists of Al-Qaeda had a second plan to hijack a plane within the United States or to take planes from countries such as South Korea, Thailand, Hong Kong, Malaysia, and others where Yemenis are admitted without a visa.

She added that the terrorists examined visa policies of several countries around the globe to come up with these alternate measures while devising the attack plan, but the second option was not carried out. Ginsburg said the terrorists reached the United States via several stopping points in order to cover their tracks, and that the United States government oversaw these travel routines used by terrorists since 1992 to 2001 and paid no attention to collecting relevant information and having them analyzed.
