Pyongyang Commemoration Event

On July 8, at the 10th anniversary for the Central Commemoration Event of North Korean leader Kim Il-sung’s death held at the Pyongyang Gymnasium, National Defense Commission Chairman Kim Jong-il (middle) is offering a silent prayer along with the attending party of head officials. On this day at the event, North Korea asserted that the late leader Kim’s ideology and great achievements have been succeeded by Chairman Kim.
