Republic of Korea Cultural Expedition Crew Launches

“2004 Republic of Korea Cultural Expedition Crew” (led by NC Soft and sponsored by City of Seoul and DongA Ilbo) has launched its national rally. The expedition crew includes 148 college students (84 male and 64 female students) and is comprised of 160 total members. The team held its launching ceremony at the Seoul Plaza in front of the city hall with Lee Myung-bak, mayor of Seoul, Kim Taek-jin, CEO of NC Soft, Hong Ki-sam, president of Dongguk University, Yoo In-chon, director general of Seoul Cultural Foundation, Lim Yoen-chul, chief of business bureau of DongA Ilbo, and others present.

The expedition crew is traveling to Homi-got in Pohang, Gyeongbuk by bus and will start a 35-night and 36-day expedition that will cover 850 km on foot on June 26.
