The Iron Buddha Sitting Statue (Treasure #332, weight: 6.2 ton, height; 2.85m), the largest figure among the possessions of the National Museum of Korea, was moved to a new museum in Yongsan, Seoul on June 8. The museum broke down the wall in an exhibition hall inside Kyoungbok Palace, lifted up the statue with a 150-ton special crane, and conveyed it with a large trailer in order to transport it. The move to the new museum has begun since April 19, and 20 percent of the work has been completed.
