“Never Again,” Chen Shui-bian’s Anxious Inauguration ceremony

Re-elected Taiwanese President Chen Sui-bian took office on May 20. In his inauguration speech, President Chen weakened Taiwan’s independence image, however he denied the acceptance of a “One China” policy which will cause difficulties with China.
