Arriving in Libya

Representative in the U.S. Congress Kurt Weldon (Republican, with a bag in the front line), who headed the seven-member delegation of the Korea-U.S. Assembly, is arriving in Tripoli, Libya on January 25 with the invitation from the Libyan government. The visit is likely to give an opportunity to confirm each other’s stance prior to diplomatic normalization talks between the U.S. and Libya scheduled next month.
