The 40th Annual “Trade Day” Ceremony

The 40th Annual “Trade Day” ceremony was held yesterday at Seoul Kangnam-gu Samsung-dong COEX. 750 people received medals and awards for their merits in exportation including Kim Noi-myung, vice president of Kia Motors Corporation, Choi Doe-suk, president of Samsung Electronics, Chung Sung-rib, CEO of Daewoo Shipbuilding and Marine Engineering, Lee Taek-woo, CEO of Samwon-Tech, and Lee Sung-kyu, CEO of Pantech, who had received the Gold Tower, the Order of Industrial Service Merit. Samsung Electronics was the first ever single enterprise to accomplish $250 billion in exportation and received the $250 billion Exportation Tower and LG International and Hyundai Motor Company received the $150 billion Tower and $100 billion Tower respectively.
