The Main Sanctuary of Guryong Temple Burnt Down

On September 30, a fire broke out at the main sanctuary in Guryong Temple, located in Wonju-city, Kangwon province. The disappeared sanctuary, which is known for being built by the great priest Ui-sang in ancient Shilla Dynasty, was rebuilt in 1706 and later designated as the 24th tangible cultural properties.
