Hanaro Telecom`s Paid-in Capital Increase Voted Down

At a shareholders` meeting at Hanaro Telecom`s headquarters in Ilsan, Gyeonggi Province, LG group`s proposal of paid-in capital increase to secure management right for Hanaro Telecom was voted down, faced with the opposition of SK Telecom and Samsung Electronics. As the rejection was decided, an official was sealing an envelope containing dissenting votes.
