Han Hee-won (25 Fila Korea) won her first victory in 3 seasons since she made a debut in LPGA. She won the Sybase Big Apple Classic (950 thousand dollars at stake) in New Rochelle, New York on the 21st with 11-under par, defeating Meg Mallon with a two shot lead in the final round.
