MOCT Holds First Press Briefing

Oh Ji-cheol, the Deputy Minister of Culture and Tourism, is briefing to reporters the ministry`s plan to form a culture administration reform committee on April 16. The first briefing was held in the 27 pyong-scale press hall decked with ten table-and-chair sets for three and article transmission facilities. Deputy Minister Oh said of the much controversial press access control plan, ˝Nothing has changed except that reporters are asked to seek a prior permission before visiting offices,˝ indicating the ministry is backing down on the earlier stance.
