Choi Kyoung-Ju Won the Second PGA Championship with Prize Money of US$ 2 Million

‘Tank’, Choi Kyoung-Ju(32,·Superior) had a championship of US PGA Tampa Bay Classic (total prize money of US$ 2.6 million)

Choi recorded 3 under par and 68 strokes on the Innisbrook Resort`s Copperhead course in the final round in Palm Harbor Florida State US on September 23. Choi recorded the second championship after won the Compaq Classic of New Orleans in May. Choi defeated Glenn Day (10 under par, 274 strokes, USA) with total 17 under par and 267 strokes by 7 strokes. 7 strokes are the largest strokes difference of US PGA Tour for the season.

Choi recorded total prize money of US$1939120 adding US$468000 of the championship prize. His ranking jumped to 17th place, increasing 14 ranks over the last week. He will soon break US$2million of the season prize.
