‘Super Peanut’ Kim Mi-Hyun(KTF) is close to the third championship for a season.

On the third round of US LPGA Tour State Farm Classic (total prize money of 1.1 million dollars) held in the Rail GC (72 par) of Springfield, the State of Illinois on September 1, Kim Mi-Hyun had 4 under par and 68 strokes. Kim (13 under par and 203 strokes) also currently led in the State Farm Series jointly with Patricia Meunier-Lebouc (France).

In the final Round 4, Meunier-Lebouc who will compete with Kim Mi-Hyun as ‘Champion Team’ is in the second years of US LPGA Tour and advances to ‘Top 10’ just twice this year. She is an easy competitor. However, the 3rd place group of Laura Diaz, Nancy Scranton and Emily Klein (US) had one stroke difference (12 under par, 204 strokes). There will be a sharp competition.

Started happily with the Birdie on the first hole (par 4), Kim Mi-Hyun missed the green consecutively on the 3rd hole (par 4), 6th hold (par 4) and 7th hole (par 3) and had the Birdie.

However, Kim Mi-Hyun had exciting Birdies in the second half and decreased 6 strokes.

Kim Mi-Hyun had the Birdie on the 10th hole (par 4), and she had the consecutive Birdie on the 11th hole (par 3), and added the consecutive Birdie with exact iron shot.

Kim Mi-Hyun played with the iron of No. 8 in 17th hole (par 4) and its second shot paid on green. Then, she shot a lucky eagle and leaded jointly in the State Farm Series.

Park Ji-eun (Ewha Womans University) is in 11th place (10 under par, 206 strokes) and Park Seri (TaylorMade) is in 14th place (9 under par, 207 strokes). They lay at a range of winning a come-from-behind victory.
