In the afternoon of August 21, 2002, our Navy’s speedboat Chamsoori 357 emerged from underwater. The ship was sunk upon being suddenly fired on by North Korea’s ships in the June 29th Yellow Sea Engagement. The fierce battle was etched onto the navigation room and the eagle mark. The Navy pulled up the ship lying 24-27m underwater near the Yunpeong Island with a crane and barge. Then it moved it to the headquarters.
