Park Se-ri, 25, queen of the green, has concluded a contract with a golf wear and goods manufacturer, receiving the highest amount of money as a female professional golfer.

On July 31, the deal with the world-class sports goods manufacturer Tailor Made was made at Korea Country Club, in Youngin-si, Gyeonggi-do on the terms that she uses the company’s products in return for 3.0 billion won.

Under the contract, she will wear golf caps with the Tailor Made logo on it, and also use golf gloves, golf balls, and caddy bags produced by the company. As for the shoes, she will wear golf shoes made by Adidas, which is the parent company of it.

Park Se-ri, who used Tailor Made’s 320/36-Ti driver in her 7 victories over the last two years, said, “I am content with the golf clubs of Tailor Made and I will return the record high contract treatment with great performance.”

On her saying, Park Bum-seok, president of Tailor Made Korea said that he felt pleasant that he joined the Se-ri team, which contributed a lot to golf becoming popular in Korea.

Meanwhile, Se-ri’s management company IMG, which played a role in the conclusion of the contract, said, ”Until just before, Anika Sorenstam’s sports goods contract was the highest, but this time Park Se-ri contract is much higher than hers, though the actual amount cannot be said.” The management firm also announced that Tailor Made would give bonus to her when she wins U.S. LPGA Tour or major championships.

Tailor Made, which already made contract with Choi Kyung-joo and Park Do-kyu, has made an annual contribution of about 100million won to the Korea Junior Golf Association, and now enjoys the No. 1 place in market share in Korea, with its aggressive marketing strategy.
