[Editorial] Lacking, But Well Done

Although our team could not realize the nation`s desire to achieve another victory with the vigor and power by the triumph over Poland, the team had done their best. It can be highly evaluated that we scored even with the US team whose capability has risen dramatically recently. They`ve been well organized.

Cheering squads in Daegu and the whole country showed gentle manners. Fortunately, there wasn`t any trouble with the anti-US sentiment.

Of course the match was lacking. During the last year and half, Guus Hiddink had given the team an intense training and the team has achieved the first victory ever.
