KT (former Korea Telecom) is trying to be modest.

According to KT on the 26th, it decided not to use the word `Gap (purchaser)` and `Eul (supplier)` on the contract made by the supply section of KT with suppliers from July, from when KT becomes a private enterprise after the general meeting of stockholders.

Gap and Eul are usual expression used in the contract pointing at the company relatively superior to the other company.

An official from KT said, “it will not use the expression Gap and Eul in the contract, and will give a present to any company participating in a bid. ”

And executives including Lee Sung-Jae head of supply section make a bow to the personnel coming to the office in the morning standing in front of the office door. Lee said, “we should be accustomed to greeting in order to serve the customers well. ”

KT is a giant in the information and communication circle with a budget for purchasing equipments and services amounting yearly 2.2 trillion won.
