U.S. Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) warned on the 21st that terrorists have made threats against some monuments, bridges and landmarks of New York including the Statue of Liberty and the United Nations Building.

Raymond Kelly Police Commissioner in New York said, “we strengthened the guard around these buildings according to the warning of FBI. But the information carried to the New York Agency of FBI is uncorroborated yet. ”

New York police have barred vessels from operating within 135 meters of the United Nations buildings, Ellis Island and waterfront facilities near the Brooklyn Bridge.

U.S. Defense Secretary Donald H. Rumsfeld warned the possibility of `the second attack` saying, “terrorists would not hesitate one minute in using the weapons of mass destruction after getting their hands on them. ”

National security adviser Condoleezza Rice called attention of the people on the 20th, saying, “America is so vulnerable to the second attacks that we should prepare against another attack of terrorists. ” Vice President Dick Cheney made the `2nd attacks` a fact, saying on the 19th, “it is certain that terrorists will attack on America. ”

Meanwhile, U.S. State Ministry expanded the warning to the tourists in Mideast area to those in Northern Africa areas.
