Another Inform of Foot-and-Mouth Disease in Anseong

There is no additional outbreak of foot-and-mouth disease, but the report that the cows and pigs seem to be affected by the disease is coming without ceasing.

The Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry (MAF) announced on the 8th that there came a report that 650 pigs, which are being raised at the farm in Shinryong-ri, Daeduk-myon Anseong city, Gyeonggi province, are showing the symptoms of foot-and-mouth disease that the National Veterinary Research and Quarantine Service (NVRQS) is investigating closely.

The report this time came from the place 17 km away from Yulkok farm in Samchook-myon Anseong city, where the foot-and-mouth disease was first reported, and the result whether it is real foot-and-mouth disease or not will announced on the 9th.

Meanwhile, the two milk cows from Hasaek-ri Gapyeong-gun, Gyeonggi province, which were suspected of the disease, were found not affected by the foot-and-mouth disease.
