North Korea Has the Ability to Acquire Bacteriological Weapons in Several Weeks

U.S. Under Secretary of State for International Security John Bolton announced on the 6th that North Korea seemed to have the ability to create bacteria many enough for the use as military weapons in a few weeks, and has various means to carry these weapons.

Through the address titled `after the axis of evil` at Heritage Foundation, a conservative think tank in Washington D.C., Under Secretary John Bolton expressed the worries about the development of biological weapons of North Korea, Iraq, and Iran, saying that George W Bush administration is supporting the international treaties including Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons (NPT), Chemical Weapons Convention (CWC), and Biological Weapons Convention (BWC).

Under Secretary Bolton said, “North Korea is putting its heart and soul to acquire biological weapons, and has been developing germs for biological weapons violating BWC. It might have completed to make it weapon.”
