Israel Withdrew from Most Territories of Palestine

The Israeli Military has withdrawn from most area in Palestine but keeps stationing in some areas including the Palestinian Presidential Office of Yasser Arafat in Ramallah, the Church of the Nativity where Palestinians took refuge, and Yenin refuge camp.

Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon remarked, “the anti-terrorism war is successfully completed for now. However, we will continue the anti-terrorist war according to a new tactic.”

U.S. Official met with Arafat on 22nd to discuss about the measures for an armistice between Israel and Palestine. President Arafat reportedly asserted that `I cannot agree to the armistice until the Israeli Military completely withdraw from all territories of Palestine including my office in Ramallah.`

Previously, BBC reported on 21st that `the Israel Military illegally imprisoned 300 Palestinian POWs arrested in the West Bank of Jordan in a prison in Negev, which is notorious for a hostile weather and scorpions.`
