The Former Policeman and His Wife Murdered

A former policeman in his 50s and his wife were found killed inhumanly in a country house, and the police began investigation.

Policemen of Seopo police office and residents found Mr. Lee (58) and his wife (53) pierced to death in his country house at Dapyeong-ri, Seopo-myon, Sacheon City, and Gyeongnam at about 10 thirty in the morning of 23rd. When found, Mr. Lee lay on his stomach bleeding pierced at 26 parts of the body including stomach in his shorts and jacket at kitchen inside of living room, and his wife was covered with bedclothes in a sitting room pierced at 11 parts.

The police found out them murdered when the Lee’s son (29. graduate school student) in Seoul, who had tried to get in touch with them from 17th, but failed, asked the neighboring police office to find them. The police are investigating whether the crime was resulted from a grudge.

Mr. Lee has stayed this country house in his hometown after retired as police sergeant from Masan Eastern Police station in December 1999. He was appointed to police constable in September 1968, and worked for 30 years.
