“Cho Pung-On Acquired 26 Military Related Concessions, President`s Children Are Suspected as Wire-pullers”

Rep. Park Seung-Guk (GNP) asserted that "Corporation K, whose chairperson of the board was weapon the trade broker Cho Pung-On, acquired 26 military concessions after the inauguration of this government. There is a rumor that Mr. Cho could succeed in such contracts under the auspices of the President`s sons."

Rep. Park urged to reveal the process of military concessions related with Mr. Cho, arguing that "Mr. Cho purchased the house of President Kim in Ilsan and the nominal owner of the house where President`s son Hong-Gul is living in Los Angeles."

He also raised suspicions about the lobbyist activity of Mr. Cho, the large stockholder of company D, through the evaluators for the operating system of Main Casino in Kangwon Land and the SAM-Z project estimated about 2 trillion and 200 billion won, saying that "Mr. Cho accompanied President`s son Hong-Gul, when he left for the U.S. on January 6th."

However, Kim Hyun-Mee, spokesperson of NMDP, refuted that "the allegation raised by GNP that the Hong-Gul`s residence in the U.S. is owned by Mr. Cho was already found out groundless long time ago. Rep. Park`s assertion is just a groundless political aggression."
