January 31st. North Korea criticized the U.S. for taking an aggressive stance toward North Korea after President George W. Bush accused Iran, Iraq and North Korea of being `an axis of evil` in his State of the Union address, reported AFP News from Seoul.

In a communiqué sent to Seoul by North Korea`s official Central News Agency, it stated "Bush`s comment is nothing but sophistry intended to maintain an aggressive policy against us and to post U. S. military in South Korea."
