President George W. Bush will finish one year of his term on the 20th.

Mr. Bush overcame a national crisis, which was caused by the 9.11 terrorist attacks and led the nation to a victory in the war against Afghanistan. Although U.S. public opinion is stirred up by the Enron scandal, Mr. Bush has racked up the highest one-year approval rating for any president over the last 40 years according to a poll, which was made public on the 18th.

According to the survey on 1,030 respondents about the Bush`s administration at the first anniversary of the Bush administration during 15-17th, 82 percent of respondents supported the Bush`s national administration while only 11 percent stood against.

After a brief ceremony of his first anniversary, Bush released an announcement for the commemoration of Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr. before his returning to D.C., which reads, "the 9.11 terror solidified our nation and strengthened our resolution to keep our life and freedom."
