Volcanic Eruption, a Disaster in Congo

Right after the eruption of the Nyiragongo volcano on the 17th in the Democratic Republic of Congo in Africa, residents in the northern area of Goma, 10 kilometers away from Nyiragongo, are hurriedly fleeing from the flowing lava. The volcanic eruption killed 45 residents and about 450,000 fled urgently by the 20th.

Tens of thousands people are reportedly locked up between the lava flows spouting from the volcano.
