However, two straight wins of the Samsung and the KCC Egis in weekend series after 3 straight losses, and the unexpected outstanding performances of the Dongyang, the Korean Tender Prumi and the Sambo Xers presented nothing but a preview of fierce competition just like `a food chain`. It was a straightforward example that the LG Sakers, which had shown its vigor to dominate the court as a outright leader, was defeated by the relatively weak KCC on 11th.

In this sense, this week will be a crucial watershed, whether such a melee will continue or each team turns its direction toward rise or fall after ending a reconnoitering skirmish.
